Our house was a real mess after a microburst last Fall.  Dirt & water, were everywhere.   Walls, cabinets, appliances & flooring all had to go.  We had to move out & chose to remodel/update everything.

Scott was a real Godsend for us.  He listened to us,  gave us some great ideas, and followed through with everything.  We couldn’t be more pleased with the results.  Work was completed in the agreed time frame and within budget.  Scott is courteous, honest, and easy to communicate with.  We highly recommend Scott Schweda Designs.

Remodeling projects can really be stressful events, even when choosing the right company to so the work. It was Scott Schweda and Travek that gave us a new perspective.

At Travek, Scott Schweda was the designer we worked with during our remodel and because of his personality and attitude, my wife and I hit if off with him from the very beginning. A large part of what made Scott outstanding was his attention to detail in every step of the process as well as his continued involvement and accessibility at all times. It became clear that His “follow-through” with everything he told us was top priority, and he gained our trust very early in the process. He has become one of the family.

Scott and TraVek really set themselves apart from the competition and to Scott, integrity is more of a verb, than a noun. In previous remodeling projects there were always arguments and push-back as to why something wouldn’t work along with excuses and vague answers. Scott didn’t offer excuses, only results.

True to Scott’s nature, during the remodel and also during the inspection toward the end, it was evident that he was much more interested in us and our satisfaction then trying to get the job done too quickly.

Every time Scott came out to inspect, we expressed how we liked what had been done so far, it was Scott who kept discovering things that “He” wanted changed or was not happy with. We became very comfortable with his ideas, suggestions and solutions.

Needless to say, it will be Scott we contact with any future projects.

We met with many contractors / designers to find a good fit and we felt you best understood our needs and brought our vision to light. You gave us ideas we had not even though of and love the end result. You also listened to what we wanted and liked. It was a 2 way street. Your insight into design color choices and materials was very impressive. You really know what works well together.Your ideas, suggestions , patience and follow through were comforting. You also kept us on budget !!
You were there every step of the way. When ever there was a little glitch or a question you got back to us immediately and
came over personally to insure that all would be worked out. It is important for anyone doing a construction project of any scope to understand there were be a few bumps in the process. That is just how it goes but we felt totally comfortable that you would address any issues that came about and you did…..I highly recommend you to anyone for design and construction service.

My Husband and I used Scott as the designer for our master bedroom, bath and closet renovations. We really went into this project with very few ideas on what we wanted done. Scott assisted (well actually made most of the suggestions) on the paint colors, wood flooring, blinds, granite, cabinetry, tile and all accessories-lights/fans etc. It was really overwhelming for us and we pretty much put our trust in Scott and let him lead. We trusted his judgement being aware of the experience he had as a designer and we are very satisfied with the end result. The color scheme was perfect. Everything blended together well from the bedroom through the bath and closet. This was a huge project and we stood to lost a lot if we were not happy with the outcome. We would not hesitate to use Scott again for any projects we decide to do in the future. We have had nothing but positive feedback on our newly decorated master bedroom-bath.
He certainly would be an asset for any company who wanted a professional designer.
